Use Dealcharts visuals and context in your reports, sites, and tools.

1. Current Options (today)

Download & Link Back

Download charts as SVG/PNG and include a link to the source page for context.

• Most charts include export options (right-click or dedicated download button)
• SVG format maintains quality at any size
• PNG format works for quick screenshots and presentations

Cite the Source

Attribute: "Source: Dealcharts.org" with a hyperlink to the relevant page.

Static Include in Docs/Slides

SVG keeps charts crisp in PDFs and slide decks.

Best practices:

• Use SVG for print materials and PDFs

• Include the Dealcharts URL in your bibliography or footnotes

• Preserve any embedded attribution in the visual

2. Planned: Live Embeds (pilot)

We're piloting interactive embeds for verified contributors and partners.

• Whether you're a Verified Contributor

Verified Contributors receive priority access.

3. Developer Access (API)

If you need programmatic data (entities, deals, charts, submissions), see /api for:

• Early access tiers (Public, Verified, Partner)
• Example endpoints and authentication
• Rate limits and usage guidelines
• SDK examples in Python and JavaScript

4. Attribution & Brand Use

Required Attribution

• Keep "Source: Dealcharts.org" visible near the visual or in a footnote
• Include a hyperlink to the specific deal or entity page when possible
• For embeds, don't modify or remove embedded attribution/links

Acceptable Use

Prohibited Use

❌ Remove or obscure attribution
❌ Claim the data as your own work
❌ Redistribute raw data without permission
❌ Use for misleading or fraudulent purposes
❌ Violate our Terms of Service

Third-Party Logos

Use of third-party logos (from verified entity profiles) remains the property of each organization. Respect trademark guidelines when featuring entity logos.

5. Security & Performance Notes

Embed Security

• Embeds are designed to be fast and read-only
• We use Content Security Policy (CSP) headers
• No JavaScript injection or cross-site scripting (XSS) risks
• All embed content is served over HTTPS

Privacy

• We avoid cookies and do not collect PII through embeds
• No user tracking or analytics via embedded content
• See /security and /privacy for full policies

Performance

• Embeds use lazy loading and CDN caching
• Minimal JavaScript footprint (< 10KB gzipped)
• Optimized for Core Web Vitals
• No impact on your page's Lighthouse scores

Browser Support

• Modern browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)

• Graceful degradation for older browsers

• Mobile-responsive by default
