Track A — Browse & Learn (everyone)
- Explore Deals, Entities, and Shelves pages
- Open charts; follow source links to filings
- Save/Download visuals (SVG/PNG) for presentations
- Search across the graph to discover relationships
Getting started:
- Visit the Capital Markets section
- Browse recent CMBS deals
- Click on any deal to see detailed metrics, charts, and document links
- Use the search bar to find specific entities or deals
Track B — Verify Your Entity (issuers, servicers, funds)
- Visit /verified/ and request verification with a work email
- Add official website, short "About," and logo
- Get a Verified badge on entity & deal pages and monthly visibility summary
- Control your profile information and corrections
Benefits:
- Increased trust and discoverability
- Direct control over your entity's information
- Early access to API and partner features
- Monthly analytics on how your entity appears in the graph
Track C — Contribute Research (analysts, bloggers)
- Apply at /contributors/ with your site and focus areas
- Publish analysis; we link your post from relevant pages
- Your work is attributed with provenance and boosts discoverability
- Join the verified contributor community
What we look for:
- Original research or analysis on structured finance
- Clear attribution and sourcing
- Focus on CMBS, ABS, BDCs, or related sectors
- Commitment to accuracy and transparency
2. What "verification" means
Verification on Dealcharts:
- Confirms identity — ensures you represent who you claim to represent
- Does not imply endorsement — Dealcharts remains neutral on all entities
- Improves accuracy — verified participants can correct identifiers, links, and statements
- Enables participation — opt-in to the Context Creation loop for AI grounding and evaluation
Verified status gives you:
- A badge on all pages where your entity appears
- The ability to submit corrections directly
- Priority review for data quality issues
- Early access to new features and API endpoints
3. Your first week checklist
Week 1 Goals:
- ☐ Find your entity or a deal you track and bookmark the page
- ☐ Report any mismatch via "Spot an error?" (coming soon)
- ☐ If you're an entity, submit verification details at /verified/
- ☐ If you're a contributor, submit 1 article that references a specific deal/entity

Public filings from SEC EDGAR + curated references and verified submissions from contributors. Every data point includes provenance metadata.

Chart embedding is being piloted. Contact us at dev@dealcharts.org for early access.
API access?
See /api for documentation. Verified entities and partner organizations get early access.
How do I report errors?
Verified participants can submit corrections directly. Others can email data@dealcharts.org with specific details.
Is Dealcharts open source?
The data is open under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0. The platform is built on open principles with transparent provenance.
How often is data updated?
We refresh deal data from SEC filings regularly. Verified entities can update their own information at any time.
