Methodology

How the ABS ranking is built

Start with DealCharts holdings rows whose mapped asset class is ABS rather than CMBS.
Classify the current public mapped ABS rows into auto, credit card, student loan, equipment, or other ABS.
Group rows by fund series key and sum mapped ABS position value.
Count distinct mapped ABS deals, CUSIPs, tranche labels, and latest filing date.
Classify fund family from fund/company URLs first, then conservative fund-name patterns.
